rabidfangirlism (Novak-mun to my fellow Sagetards). She had discovered that I had my real live actual home address posted on my userinfo (go ahead, stalk me!) and thus felt compelled to mail me something.
A postcard or maybe a letter? Oh no... she decided to buy me a small gift from where she works (Toys R' Us) and mail it to me. She was all "ZOMG! I know the PERFECT thing for you!"
Obviously it arrived today. Showing off her geekitude, the package was wrapped in Tape Of Wrapping +10 (it was actually labelled thusly, I am not making this up) which certainly lived up to its claims. Bloody tough to open it.
Inside, I found a small card (which had a personal note, and then a quote from The Gord (Love the Gord, Fear the Gord) which was cute. There was also another box inside. It was wrapped in packing tape, except the tape said "Fragile" on it.
On an untaped part of the box was written "Not really fragile". Turns out the only packing tape they had was the printed "Fragile" stuff. Heh.
Inside there? Another box. Wrapped in gift wrap. With a little card, with a little note.
Finally I open the last layer, and the SOOPER TAWP SEKRIT gift is revealed to me.
And it is.......
*drumroll*
... A My Little Pony. WTF?
It was a "Jewel Birthday Pony" - the one for my birth month, inset with a fake appropriate birthstone.
The pony's name?
"May Belle"
Han? Really... WTF?
*glomps and gromps and all that stuff*
You rock. And now I have your address :)
