Eep! Major suckage. :(

How much looking around have you done? OfficeMax has an internal CD-RW drive on clearance for $19. I'm not sure what office suply stores you've got up there, but you might be able to find something similar if you poke around.

There's always eBay (http://search.ebay.ca/CD-RW-internal-drive_W0QQfromZR40QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ3QQsatitleZCDQ2dRWQ20internalQ20drive), too.

eBay = Credit Card.
Squishy = No Credit Card.

I've seen one place listing them for $30, which is a great price.
However, I don't have $30.

Do you have a debit card? That's what I use. Not all sellers only take credit card payments, also. I prefer to use PayPal, but ISTR that a good number of sellers will accept money orders and such.

What's your budget? How much could you afford to spend?

Debit cards up here aren't like down there. Here, your bank card is your debit card. They are NOT tied to the Visa/MC/etc networks (which is how you can use your debit cards at places that take credit cards).
Fundamental difference in the banking systems.

Paypal an be linked to your bank account IN THE US. Not in Canada. Same banking thing.

Budget? What budget? Right now all I have is pocket change, literally.
And a thousand in debt of course.

WRONG< my Paypal account is tied to my bank account, not a credit card... you can tie it to your royal bank account, if you want to...
