Oh good grief.....I'm definately not seeing it now. That simple humorous flash violence made me squirm with pain. >_

From what I've heard of the movie, that flash is probably a pretty accurate representation of the movie. After all, some people are calling it one of the most violent and bloody films ever. Some discussions I've seen have disputed that, in part. They maintain that a good slasher flick has more blood and gore... but is much easier to handle than The Passion. The difference? In most movies, the blood, pain and violence is divvied up among a number of victims. In The Passion, it's all done to a single person. Which cranks up the intensity several notches.

Yeah, my latin teacher rants about the Passion a lot, but she can't see it because it's too violent, which drives her nuts. It's this huge conflict that will get her rambling on for a good ten, fifteen minutes. XD
