Registered for the xmas hamper today. Yay for free food!

On the way back from there, filled out an app at Subway and picked one up from Safeway.
The owner/manager was actually in the Subway when I got there, asked to see my resume before even handing me an app, looked it over, and approved.
Filled out the app. The manager informed me they're only hiring part time evenings right now (which i can't work) but she's opening a new store in March and would need fulltime then, so now I'm on file as interested and should get a call eventually.

Got home, had a message on my voice mail.

"HI Jayson, this is Karin *CLICK*"

Message got cut off. Go figure. So I phoned Karin back, apologized for not being in to take her call, and informed her that her message had been cut off. So she told me... she wants me in thursday and friday for the day on temp, can come in after I drop kiddo off at school.

I'm so on it. If I do well and consistently as temp, that's my foot in the door. I really do like working there.
The fact they're calling ME for temp is promising, when I know they have a lot of other people they can call in.
