Well that was fun
Dec. 20th, 2004 01:53 amSo Matt and Steph came by tonight and we had dinner. Steph has apparently been a vegetarian for longer than I've known her, and I never noticed until now. So she didn't have any bird. Me and Matt made up for it though :)
Dinner went well, if a bit late. There was much chatting and relaxation. Matt eventually caught the hang of calling Steph Steph instead of Raven :)
Then the phone rang. So who was it? SUMMER! I told her it was a good night to call, people were over.
She started apologizing until I handed the phoen off to Matt. It stayed glued to his ear for over half an hour. Then Steph got it and that chewed up another 20 oddd minutes. Then we talked a bunch while Matt and Steph both sucked at Frogger on the PS1 for some time. We eventually said our goodbyes, and Summer was feeling GOOD. She was feeling pretty blah until she called. I think it was a success.
We then talked more, of the Cit getting back on it's feet, and general hanging-around stuff. Matt read an entire graphic novel I had here in his passing time, and now he has to return my copy of Snow Crash so Steph can read it :)
They finally departed late, and now Steph is on the hunt for a new computer. And I shall help her because I'm good at that stuff.
I now have a lot of food in my fridge. And happiness in my heart. And a new possible plan for getting Summer across the border... having her bus to Bellingham, then driving down and picking her up! Cars get less scrutiny than busses it seems. Plus as a car full of Canadians, it'd be easier to get across to Canada, eh?
Summer misses everyone (who knows her, naturally) and wishes she could talk to you all. Of course, you can always talk to her: 720-859-2189 *wink*
Things are going well, all told.
