When I whipped out the camera at the bus stop, she frowned, then smiled (as I took pictures) and said "You don't even have batteries in it, do you?" This was because I told her I don't keep the batteries in when I'm not actually using the camera (it constantly drains them).
Then I told her I had put the batteries in back at her place. Her response was "WHAT!?!?!"
Hehehe.

Poor her. She'll see this in class tomorrow.
