Excellentness

Dropped kiddo at school today, and Marna (the Special Ed worker supervisor type person, who is over Mrs. Maracle, but still pokes in personally sometimes... and was MY youth worker when I was in Grade 6) was there. Mrs. Maracle has been sick and thus not in school with munchkin for a while. She just wanted to check in and see how he was doing - which is great.

Then she told me a fascinating piece of news... Mrs. Rodgers, his utterly INCREDIBLE Kindergarten teacher... is going to be teaching Grade 1 next year! So kiddo will get to have the SAME TEACHER next year. One who already knows how to deal with him. One whom he already knows and adores.

This is just awesome. But now I'm hungry and need to go shopping. Blah.
